Were looking for a candidate that has experience writing code, preferably in VBScript and PowerShell. We are seeing candidates that have these languages on their resume, but it turns out that they just have experience using scripts that were written in these languages (by other people), not experience with writing in these languages. Because our PKI environment is so large, we do try to automate tasks as much as possible, so having this skill is important to us. Is it possible to verify that our candidates have experience writing in these scripting languages before we interview them Im not looking for a full-on developer, but I do need someone who is comfortable with writing, modifying, and upgrading code. Description: I need someone who is a self-starter. Someone who likes to take the initiative, figure things out on their own and can design and critique solutions. Someone who can see a list of tasks ahead of them and work through them without having to be asked. I will be working with this person directly. They will be my partner in managing and maintaining our PKI environment. Ill need someone who is comfortable working directly with a teammate and who can communicate status effectively. I would like to have someone who enjoys coding and automating tasks. Someone who is proficient in PowerShell and/or VBScript scripting languages is a major plus. Someone who has been employed as a server engineer in the past. If they have Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) experience, that would be a major plus. If not, I can teach them ADCS. Server administration is what Im looking for. Someone that understands basic networking concepts: DNS, IP/NAT translation, services, ports, and protocols. Major plus if they understand the basic concepts of asymmetric encryption and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
