Responsibilities: Participates in the demand management process to assist the business in establishing business cases, scope, and requirements relating to requests for new systems or existing systems changes Primarily support IT acquisition of products or services by developing scopes of work Consults with project teams and architects to identify currently know solutions or performs market research. Gathers information/documentation from vendors or contractors. Translates business needs into requirements and functional/non-functional specifications. Gather, clarify/define, and document scope, business scenarios, workflows, requirements, etc. Conduct interviews, workshops, and JAD sessions Analyses and validates business requirements and processes, identifies opportunities for process. enhancement to benefit the Department, identifies gaps in information. Uses a structured process to define priorities and opportunities and/or works with stakeholders to define the minimum viable product (MVP) and options for improvements via subsequent phases Produces required work artifacts. Communicates and presents clients business requirements to implementation teams. Creates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and system. architects Works with the team to define acceptance criteria or other metrics/performance goals for the system. Provides status updates, completes weekly work time logs, updates work tickets weekly. Provide estimates and target dates for task completion for incorporation into project schedules or work tickets.
