Job Title : Product owner - Property and Casualty Insurance-Onsite Employment Type : Contract, Contract to Hire, C2C Location : Phoenix, AZ, US (Onsite) Job Description Mandatory Skills : 3-4 years of Insurance Domain Experience working with Property and Casualty Insurance firms. An environment where the strengths and expertise of our workforce are welcomed, amplified and exhibited in work Leads through influence, not authority to align the product and engineering teams against sprint goals and quarterly release plans Works with customers and other team members to understand business needs, challenges, and opportunities and translates customer/business requirements into workable software roadmap and solutions Partnered with engineering teams on the creation of specifications and user stories. Participates in the Agile Scrum process to ensure the business vision is being accurately implemented and meets market/stakeholder expectations. Subscribes to and promotes the product development processes and agile product management methodology, providing input to advance the discipline further and evangelize across the organization. Owns the product backlog, ensuring that the team always has an adequate amount of prioritized, defined, and prepared tasks to work on. Serve as Scrum Master as needed, according to engineering team demand to ensure the product and engineering team is producing work against sprint goals and quarterly release plans Manages and drives the product launch & ongoing release process, developing communication and training materials as needed to ensure organizational and market readiness Establish a communication structure to report out updates, progress, status with the team, and leadership so that everyone understands role and expectations Stays current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications and professional networking What you'll need Proven experience in as product owner in Web/Mobile Digital experience area and customer service area experience coordinating priorities and contributions of a network of technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization (Required) Experience working on a Scrum/Agile team Proven ability to manage stakeholders through requirements definition and management Experience delivering Web and/or native app experiences that meet user needs based on quality user research, UX Design, and information architecture principles BS/BA degree in Business, Management, or Computer Science or a related field (preferred) Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle and experience working with a team in such an environment Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in an execution-focused environment Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization Ability to leverage data to inform others and make business decisions A high degree of accuracy, care, and attention to detail Ability to adapt to a wide range of project types and time frames 3-4 years of Insurance Domain Experience working with Property and Casualty Insurance firms Please let me know your interest and let's keep in touch until we make this happen Referrals appreciated and welcomed.
