| From: Mayank, Pivotal Technologies [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] "Looking for Local" Scrum Master- Mid Level (Hybrid onsite in Boston, MA) Visa : No H1/OPT Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid) Rate : $47/hr C2C Duties and Responsibilities: As a servant leader, the Scrum Master partners closely with the product owner, IT, and business stakeholders on planning, forms and leads the scrum team, helps all team members as well as the organization, and champions continuous improvement. Work collaboratively with Product Owners, and development teams to support development and software delivery. Ensure the development teams are practicing the core agile principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility. Organize and facilitate daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, demos, and other Scrum related meetings Participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices. Mentors and coaches scrum teams on product backlog estimation and acceptance criteria definition, facilitates the definition of minimal viable product, and leads continuous refinement and prioritization of the product backlog. Ensure the development team is working efficiently towards sprint goals. Ensure requests from retrospectives are listened to and some of the requests are implemented to increase developer participation. Qualifications: Education and Years of Experience: Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I, CSP or equivalent) 3 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT or Software Development setting Experience leading a team in an agile environment. A thorough understanding of agile software development methodologies, values, and procedures Experience working with agile methodology on large scale, technically complex projects. Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail Worked with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar software. Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or related field Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Experience working in a consulting firm. CSP Preferred Additional Requirements: Person must be willing to come onsite to client Boston office 2-3 days a week.
