This platform will support the insourcing of various middle office functions to support an internal Investment Book of Record (IBOR). SWIB is seeking: An experienced financial services industry contractor specializing in the development and support of the SimCorp Dimension platform. The contractor must have direct experience with implementing, using, and improving the SimCorp Dimension platform across the middle office functions that support the investment lifecycle across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investment products. The successful candidate will: As a member of the technology team work collaboratively with our investment management, operations, data, and technology teams to understand and address current platform pain points, challenges and opportunities as the teams work to improve platform functionality and efficiency in conjunction with the ongoing migration effort Participate in Data Migration activities from legacy IBOR system to Simcorp IBOR system. Utilize both Simcorp and SWIB design and development tools, to build extracts and reports to business specs Troubleshoot and support custom system workflows; concentration will be initially focused on supporting middle office activities, including interfaces with counterparties. Participate in evaluating, planning, and executing certain enhancements, configuration changes, workflow optimization, and other means of improving overall platform efficiency Leverage experience on the SimCorp platform in a variety of environments to assist SWIB with implementing standard practices. Train staff to build internal knowledge and capabilities within the SimCorp Platform Essential activities: Utilize extensive knowledge of the SimCorp Dimension platform, its capabilities and limitations, tools, configurations, and workflows to conceptualize and execute continuous improvement solutions and enhancements. Advise on required quality and testing on all changes to Simcorp Dimension system. Develop and execute targeted train-the-trainer and end-user training activities for technology teams to support the building of platform knowledge depth within the organization and to strengthen SWIBs overall support model. The ideal contractor will have: 4+ years experience in the investment management industry working with buy-side firms; experience working with complex pensions with high levels of internal management highly preferred Broad investment knowledge and experience across public markets 4+ years experience working on the SimCorp Dimension platform across the various modules in support of both day-to-day issue resolution and in the evaluation, planning and execution of enhancements and continuous platform improvements with demonstrable ROI Past experience with Data Migration activities. Participated in various phases of the SimCorp Dimension platform lifecycle including implementation, upgrades, 3rd party integrations, production support maturation, and process optimization.
