Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Quality Engineer with a background in development to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be to automate our current manual platform with the goal of achieving full automation across all platforms by the end of the year. In addition, we aim to migrate our systems to the cloud within the next five years. As an Automation Quality Engineer, you will work closely with our existing Leads who will provide direction and guidance. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Team Leads to understand automation requirements and objectives. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts. Implement test automation best practices and ensure consistent quality across all automated tests. Execute both manual and automated tests to validate system functionality and performance. Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with the development team to resolve them. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our automation processes and tools. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation and quality assurance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience in software development, preferably with a background in Java. Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium. Familiarity with containerization platforms like Kubernetes is highly desirable. Previous experience in automation testing, including a combination of manual and automated testing. Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team. A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
