Position: Jr QA Location: St. Louis, MO Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: Essential Duties & Responsibilities Use your brain and your tech skills to design clever experiments to uncover problems Apply lean principles to testing to deliver value to customers early Perform accountable Exploratory Testing in a culture that maximizes the freedom of the tester Design, develop, maintain and execute functional test automation Determine which tests to automate and which approach to use (e.g., API layer, UI layer) Create story-level test plans in parallel with product coding Estimate, prioritize and lead testing activities such as production smoke testing Use automation to perform regression testing throughout each sprint Use log files, metrics, and other evidence to pinpoint problems quickly and determine reproduction steps Desired Qualifications & Experience 2+ years writing C# or Java test code 2+ years writing test automation with Selenium 2+ years using xUnit test frameworks like NUnit, MSTest, Junit, TestNG 1+ years writing/maintaining functional API test automation using HttpClient library, RestSharp, Polly, etc. 1+ years with a BDD Framework like Specflow(Preferred), Jbehave, Cucumber 1+ years with git-based source control Writing test plans and test cases Performing peer code reviews and merges 1+ years directly interacting with APIs using test tools like Postman, ReadyAPI, SoapUI Experience with test case management tools like QTest or Zephyr Knowledge of ADA/Performance testing tools like JMeter/Lighthouse/Sitespeed.io/Browsertim Experience with eCommerce site testing Communication & Cognitive Abilities Takes an interest in company initiatives and connects them to ones work Critical thinking and test design Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills Remain skeptical when everyone else is Keywords: csharp quality analyst user interface Missouri |
