Location: Remote Rate: Open / hr Contract: Long Term Find Someone who has worked with Discover Financial in the past Leading the DevOps - SRE efforts across Discover core banking system, responsible for architecting solutions to establish pillars of SRE observability, telemetry, change management, impact assessment, chaos engineering and self-healing within the core banking platform Leading change management function for the SRE team to coordinate and implement changes into Staging and Production Created Design and Requirements Control gates and managed Features and Small Effort requests for each PI Coordination with various capability teams and overseeing Production monthly deployments, identifying and mitigating resistance Responsible for working with Business Units, Value stream architects, application and platform teams for gathering and reviewing requirements pertaining to Pre-Prod and Post-Prod Ops. Integrated Metrics from Service Now and Rally to create an Enterprise board for Change Management Scrum Master for SRE sprint plans, risk identification and mitigation, capacity and velocity planning. Creation of fully integrated SRE dashboard and automated reporting/alerting on performance and availability of live systems Introduced Gremlin and Moogsoft to introduce Chaos Engineering and AI Ops within Discover Core banking platform Provide process and team governance to the team, communicate clearly and frequently with Stakeholders and Business Units, attend technical seminars, organize brown bag sessions.
