| Role: Systems Engineer Client: USAC Duration: 6 months on C2C Location : Washington, D.C Visas- No H1B Please share your resume if you are only local to Washington, DC Location: Hybrid opportunity working onsite in Washington, D.C. office 2 days a week LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Responsibilities: Administers, maintains, develops, and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of company databases. Implements data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. Formulates and implements backup procedures for all company databases. Perform database related development as dictated by departmental or project demands. Experience with cloud database technologies (i.e. AWS RDS, Oracle, MS SQL, Azure). Familiarity with AWS Cloud products (EC2, EBS, S3, Lambda, Aurora, Dynamo DB, EMR, DMS data migration, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, SQS/SNS, etc.). Exposure to the automation tools /scripting or processes. Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Oracle. Solid technical experience as a Database Administrator, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. DB Concept on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, performance tuning, System Copies, high availability and disaster recovery strategy, export-import, replication is must.
