The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully designing and implementing disaster recovery solutions, migrating production workloads to the cloud, and conducting thorough failover testing to ensure business continuity. Responsibilities: Azure Disaster Recovery Planning and Implementation: Design and develop comprehensive disaster recovery strategies for Azure-based environments. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business continuity requirements and formulate DR plans accordingly. Implement Azure Site Recovery (ASR) or other relevant Azure DR solutions to ensure data and application availability in case of outages. Fortigate Cloud Firewalls and Citrix ADC Load Balancers: Configure and manage Fortigate cloud firewalls to secure Azure infrastructure and applications. Deploy and optimize Citrix ADC load balancers in Azure to ensure efficient traffic distribution and high availability. Cloud Migration and Workload Transfer: Assess on-premises or existing cloud-based workloads for migration to Azure. Execute migration plans, including virtual machine (VM) migration, data transfer, and application setup in Azure. Monitor and troubleshoot migration-related issues to ensure minimal downtime. Failover Testing and Optimization: Develop comprehensive failover testing plans to validate disaster recovery readiness. Conduct failover tests periodically to validate DR strategies and document results. Optimize failover processes and refine recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) based on test outcomes. Collaboration and Documentation: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including infrastructure, network, and security teams, to ensure seamless cloud operations. Maintain detailed documentation of disaster recovery plans, cloud configurations, and migration procedures. Provide training and knowledge transfer to team members and stakeholders. Security and Compliance: Ensure Azure resources are configured securely, following best practices and compliance standards. Implement security controls and continuous monitoring for threat detection and mitigation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and execution on the Azure cloud platform. Strong knowledge of Fortigate cloud firewalls and Citrix ADC load balancers in Azure. Hands-on experience with Azure Site Recovery (ASR) or similar DR technologies. Proficiency in Azure infrastructure services, including VMs, storage, networking, and security. Experience with scripting and automation tools for Azure resource management. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. This role requires a dedicated professional with a deep understanding of Azure cloud services, disaster recovery principles, and a proactive approach to ensuring business continuity in a cloud-based environment.
