[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Sr. Automation Test Engineer Location: Richmond VA Duration: 9 Months Client: TAX DEPT Need experience 10+ years Remote to start but ON SITE (2-3 days/week) expected in near future (in next 2 - 3 months) Must be able to pick up equipment IN PERSON if selected. Parking is not provided for contractors Candidate with 8 + years of experience in the following: Responsibilities & Expectations: Proficiency developing, implementing and executing data-driven or keyword driven testing frameworks using testing tools like Selenium, UFT etc. to facilitate test automation Proficiency in implementing and executing testing strategies, plans, methodologies and frameworks in support of Agile development Demonstrated ability to analyze business and technical requirements to develop and execute test plans/strategies Experience in Performance testing using Jmeter Demonstrated ability to execute custom automation/manual testing frameworks strategies Review all systems requirements to write detail Test scenarios to make sure it does not impact the new changes on tax implementation Create and Maintenance of test data to support automation testing and Business users Identify system defects and coordinate with Developers and business users Assisting developers in recreating bugs Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Ruby, Java OR Python Engineer, consult and upskill other test engineers on DevOps (CI/CD) and infrastructure automation, automated CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and operations, Generating innovative ideas, developing proof-of-concepts and rapid prototypes alongside other engineers utilizing pair programming and mobbing techniques Ability to clearly articulate and explain complex concepts and technologies to a non-technical audience Strong analytical, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with engineering teams and solving complex system problems together Establishing proactive monitoring and alerting capabilities exist for all components of the platform Working experience with version control tool such as GitHub / TFS |
