Role: AWS Cloud Engineer with Scalr Experience Location : Bloomington, IL :: Remote Role :: Duration: Contract Role Experience Required Strong experience with building Cloud infrastructure as code Terraform. Hands on Experience in AWS Cloud Engineer/Architect with Scalr experience 4+ years experience with AWS Container and Serverless architecture: API Gateway, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, KMS, CloudWatch. 5+ years experience with Object Oriented language proficiency Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD processes. Experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Having used ECS or EKS Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog or ELK stack. Experience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications. Developing different AWS services, including API, RDS instance, and Lambda to build serverless applications. Bachelors Degree or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement can be used in lieu of a degree. 6 years of software development experience demonstrating depth of technical understanding within a specific discipline(s)/technology(s). Generic Managerial Skills Excellent written/verbal communication skills Excellent team player Consensus building skills. Independently manage Stakeholder Meetings Detail-oriented Excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation and negotiation skills The ability to effectively take direction and work both collaboratively and autonomously.
