We have an exciting job opportunity with one of our clients, below are the details of the position: Role: Data Scientist / Data Modeler/Master Data Designer Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid 3 days onsite in a Week) Mode of hiring : Contract Detailed Description We are seeking a talented Data Modeler/Data Scientist/Master Data Designer with expertise in Big Data Platforms such as Cloudera and Databricks, proficiency in Big Data Technologies like Scala and Impala, and deep knowledge in Data Modeling & Data Architecture. Responsibilities Design and develop robust data models and architectures for complex projects utilizing Big Data Platforms including Cloudera and Databricks. Implement advanced data modeling techniques to optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, conduct data analysis, and design data solutions tailored to specific business needs. Utilize Big Data Technologies like Scala and Impala to process and analyze large datasets efficiently. Work closely with stakeholders to identify data patterns, trends, and insights to drive informed decision-making. Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across various databases and platforms. Provide expertise in Master Data Design, ensuring a unified view of data across the organization. Requirements Proven experience in designing and implementing data models and architectures in Big Data Platforms such as Cloudera and Databricks. Proficiency in Big Data Technologies including Scala and Impala, with a focus on data processing and analysis. Strong background in Data Modeling & Data Architecture, with the ability to optimize data structures for performance and scalability. Solid understanding of data governance, data quality, and data integration best practices. Familiarity with data science concepts and tools, leveraging data models for predictive analytics and machine learning. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
