In addition to the initial configuration of the tool this person will work with other members of the QA team (and possibly other testing teams) to identify and prioritize testing that will be automated. The QA Test Automation Engineer will be responsible for defining and implementing the framework for this testing to best leverage the automation tool. This position will be responsible for creating training materials and training members of the QA team on the usage of the tool and framework.
