(2) Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security (PCNSE) Certification. (3) Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE) Certification from Palo Alto Networks. OFFEROR & RESOURCE QUALIFICATIONS 1. The Offeror shall have one (1) years of experience in providing recruitment, staffing and/or otherwise providing professional consulting services. 2. The Offeror shall propose a resource that meets the following minimum qualifications: a. Associate degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field, as determined by the AOC. b. Eight (8) years of CONUS technical experience in IT networking. c. Possess active (i.e., not expired) certification as follows: (1) Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise or Security Certification. 3. The AOC prefers Offeror proposed resource(s) to have the following qualifications: a. Ten (10) years of CONUS technical experience in IT networking. b. Bachelors degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field, as determined by the AOC c. Certifications issued within the last four (4) years as follows: (1) Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in Enterprise Infrastructure or Security Certification. (2) Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security (PCNSE) Certification. (3) Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer (PCCSE) Certification from Palo Alto Networks. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Offeror proposed resource(s) shall be responsible for the following: a. Lead, schedule and oversee the activities with other team members to resolve end user hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. b. Primary job duties and responsibilities including testing, deployment, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation of a statewide network, utilizing industry best practices for security, disaster recovery and business continuity, change control, and client support. c. Assistance in the creation of robust network designs, acting as the escalation point of contact and lead engineer for implementations and provide ongoing support and maintenance. d. Oversight of the configuration, maintenance, and documentation of routers, switches, wireless controllers, load balancers, WAN optimizers, and management and security appliances. e. Designing, developing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and documenting computer networks and infrastructure f. Developing and analyzing network designs and protocols including prototyping and assessment. g. Performing planning, engineering, forecasting and implementation, and identification of resource requirements for network systems h. Leading or assisting in major network projects to support capacity growth, upgrades and new products/features, and integration i. Evaluating current network systems and recommending changes in maintenance and systems standards, and training support personnel on the conversion, implementation, and troubleshooting j. Applying in-depth up-to-date knowledge of standards, guidelines, industry trends and similar for LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Center, Cloud networking interconnection k. Driving improvements in network process, efficiency, and standardization. Ensuring security compliance, change control processes and adherence to standards l. Providing upper tier of diagnosis, isolation, and resolution of network problems. Identifying and documenting root cause. Proactively identifying potential issues in the production environment and recommending potential solutions m. Developing comprehensive graphical and text-based documentation and effectively managing the implementation process from design to acceptance n. Generating weekly status reports including project progress, key milestones, and tasks accomplished, etc. o. Hosting weekly status meetings/calls with team or on as needed basis. p. Lifting personal computers, printers, scanners, and other equipment associated with a standard computer workstation. q. Reporting as follows: (1) Weekly report communicating project progress and status, (2) Weekly time reporting on JIS provided forms, and (3) Any additional reports as assigned by the supervising manager. OFFEROR RESOURCE(S) SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & CAPABILITIES 1. Offeror shall propose a resource possessing the following preferred skills, experience and capabilities at the mid-expert level: a. Proficient with the following: (1) High Availability in Enterprise (2) Scalable routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF). (3) Advanced WAN service layers, SDWANs and WAN Optimization applications. (4) Current Network Security applications, services and appliances including Identity Management, Network Access Control, Application Layer Inspection, Content and Malware Filtering, Data Loss and Intrusion Prevention, zero-day threats, IPsec and SSL VPN, PKI, Two-Factor Authentication and other. (5) Network Management Protocols, Applications and Operating System capabilities. b. Experience with: (1) Layer 2&3 optimization and boundary, virtual switching systems. (2) Enterprise Data Center and cloud Networking for Virtualization, SDN, Load Balancing, storage. (3) Zero Trust Network Access and micro-segmentation. (4) Enterprise VoIP and physical security environments - access control and video surveillance network applications. (5) Quality-of-Service design and implementation. (6) Installation and configuration of Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, and Palo Alto platforms. (7) Installation, configuration, securing and troubleshooting enterprise wireless access systems. c. Knowledge of the following: (1) Infrastructure Services and experience with IPAM products. (2) IP multicast, Enterprise Video conferencing, streaming and on demand components. (3) Coding languages for scripting. d. Familiarity with major server and desktop operating systems and utilities are required. e. Sharp troubleshooting, organizational and mentoring skills and ability work independent. f. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team skills.
