Description: Role Summary: T-Mobile is seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Systems - IV to join its Finance organization. This key position is responsible for assessing and managing enterprise projects and business initiatives that impact T-Mobile's accounting and financial reporting processes. The Senior Analyst will work closely with the Sr Manager, Business Systems Analysis and will function as an individual contributor. This role involves representing Finance in enterprise projects from inception to completion, encompassing assessments, business requirements, system design, testing, and launch approvals. The position requires close collaboration with product owners, cross-functional teams, and finance leadership. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in both business analysis and technical or operational accounting. The role entails becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more areas of accounting, understanding transactional flows, financial risks, controls, and journal entries to drive scalable solutions and operational accounting efficiencies. This role demands adaptability in a dynamic, ever-changing business environment and requires strong leadership and communication skills. Responsibilities: Manage projects from concept approval to launch, including providing status reports and go/no-go recommendations to accounting leadership. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives, drive process improvements, and implement best practices. Elicit requirements and draft user stories with acceptance criteria. Communicate and advocate for business requirements to project teams, ensuring the solution design aligns with the requirements. Effectively collaborate and communicate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams. Identify and manage risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as necessary. Serve as a knowledgeable resource and SME for business partners and cross-functional enterprise project teams. Develop and review test plans, liaise with testing teams, review test results, and ensure all requirements are tested and meet the defined criteria. Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in business analysis. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Prior experience in public accounting or at a public company is preferred. Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple projects while meeting set deliverable deadlines. Proven adaptability and excellence in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Ability to make sound, fact-based decisions and recommendations. Proven ability to build successful partnerships and negotiate with product owners and IT to deliver system solutions and enhancements. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Experience with Agile software development practices. Solid understanding of ERP and/or financial systems, including development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of billing and accounting systems.
