Please find the below job details and kindly respond me back with your updated MS WORD version resume cover letter along with rate/salary and contact details Role: VMware and Windows Engineer hands on experience working in VMware performing Maintenance hands on experience working on Windows Server 2012 Interview - In-Person Work arrangement Onsite initially and then Remote (2 days a week) North Chesterfield VA Max sub 2; No sub Open Start and End Date: 11/13/23 to 06/30/2024 Short Description VSP - VMware and Windows Engineer - ONSITE LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY - candidate must be willing to work at least 3 days/week ON-SITE from DAY 1 Complete Description *local candidates strongly preferred *manager will ONLY conduct onsite interviews, NO exceptions *candidate MUST be comfortable working ONSITE for the first several weeks - length of time to be determined by manager. Then candidate can work remotely up to two days each week. Works with IT engineering team to implement and provide support to agencys IT system infrastructure. Performs day-to-day activities related to the support, research, analysis, and implementation of VMware and Windows systems and infrastructure. Considerable knowledge, experience, and understanding of working in a VMware and Windows environment is required. This includes: In-depth experience with troubleshooting VMware and Windows problems. Thorough knowledge of and in-depth experience with performance monitoring, system testing, OS upgrade, and software patch Installation and testing in a VMware and Windows environment. Experience with standard server networking protocols. In-depth experience with medium to large-scale VMware and Windows environments. Experience with providing technical support. Experience working with and writing Power scripting.
