Role: Oracle Database Architect Location: Albany, New York Duration: 19 Months Client: NY State Client Job ID#: HBITS-05-13076 Description On March 31, 2021, former Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the Marihuana Regulation & Taxation Act (MRTA). The legislation creates a new Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) governed by a Cannabis Control Board to oversee and implement the law (collectively referred to as the OCM). The OCM oversees the States Medical Cannabis Program, which ensures medical cannabis available for certified patients with serious conditions and is dispensed and administered in a manner that protects public health and safety. Duties The Database Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to, the analysis and design of database objects and data collection systems, including the transformation of legislative requirements into system functionality; data modelling; responsible for software development tasks including coding, testing, and implementation; prepares technical and user documentation. Mandatory Requirements Experience (11+ Years) Determines database structural requirements by analyzing client operations, applications, and programming; reviews objectives with clients; evaluates current systems; provides database support by coding utilities, responding to user questions, and resolving problems. Requirements This is an 100% Onsite 84 Months Experience developing Oracle PL/SQL using advanced PL/SQL programming techniques. 84 Months Experience using Oracle development tools such as SQL Plus, SQL Developer, and SQL Loader for programming and maintaining applications. 48 Months Experience designing and implementing logical and physical database models, including indexes, primary keys, foreign keys, and constraints. 48 months Experience optimizing, performance tuning, and debugging PL/SQL. 24 months Experience performing Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) techniques Ashok Reddy Akkala Sligo Software Solutions, Inc.
