Job Title: SQL Server Database Location: Jersey City ,NJ OR Columbus ,OH (Onsite) Duration : 6+ Months Client : Mphasis For database server Target state : GAIA SQL Server Migrate Application DB from SQL Server 2016 Data Base to SQL Server 2019 Database. That should follow the Database Migration Process and DB objects should have DB Compatible Level of 150. Currently 4 databases, ~35 ETL SSIS Packages and 414 stored procedures and functions Perform needed updates to stored procedures, functions, ETL packages, etc to update to new SQL versions. Any needed optimization and performance testing Update DNS Alias to associate to new servers (one time only). The GAIA version is currently in a BETA stage. If there are any issues or delays in rollout of GAIA, a decision will be made to do VSI implementation (decision timeline Q3 2022). Requirement Resource preferably in USA (Jersey City, Columbus) or Argentina (BA). Experienced SQL Server resource. Having experience in cloud database offerings (e.g. Postgres, RedShift) is a plus. Familiarity with JPMC DevOps - Jules, BluePrint is a plus. Primary task will be to work closely with the dev team to upgrade/migrate existing SQL Server database to the internal cloud SQL server database.
