Job Description: Design, implement, and enhance cross-functional clinical data interfaces (APIs) for internal and external value-based care partners Conceptualize sending/receiving systems data structure, translating the nature of how interfaced data will present to the user in a meaningful way Collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure that API requirements are understood, removing roadblocks by refining requirements in an iterative agile SDLC approach Define product backlog, requirements, and user stories for their team and prioritize against outcome-oriented goals to execute the product strategy for interface development Conduct research and analyses to discover and validate user and business value Partner with others across the team to ensure that the product vision and critical roadmap milestones are met Work with cross-functional teams to ensure fulfillment of product requirements and evaluate ongoing interface performance Prepare for and participate in PI ceremonies as part of our SAFe processes Fulfill a leadership role in the Scrum Team by providing clarification on user stories, objectives, and priorities while also motivating the team to GSD (Get Stuff Done) Collaborate with key partners to understand short-term and long-term business objectives to inform the product roadmap Develop a deep understanding of our users, our patients, our business, and the broader healthcare ecosystems Mentor more junior product teammates Skills Must-Haves 8+ years of experience Willing and able to travel 25% 3+ years of interface (API) experience as a product manager, product owner, or equivalent API requirements and implementation role Experience with healthcare interfacing standards (i.e. HL7, FHIR, EDI) Experience with API technologies (i.e. Postman) Ability to interpret interfacing messages (i.e. JSON, XML, UML) Track record demonstrating a strong understanding of product discovery and product delivery Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research and data Ability to embrace change and thrive in an organization that moves and changes quickly Comfort with ambiguity and navigating uncertainty Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate with technical, clinical, and other business partners to influence and accomplish goals Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and follow through Nice-To-Haves Experience with software development tools i.e. SDKs in a sandbox plug-and-play environment Working knowledge of relational database querying languages (i.e. SQL, Python) Experience in value-based care or population health Experience in a detail-oriented and highly analytical role Familiarity or experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Cerner, Epic, etc. Experience in building a product from the ground up Education bachelors degree Keywords: Colorado Idaho |
