The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the PeopleSoft Time & Labor module for our esteemed Texas Education Client. This role specifically involves expertise in TimesheetX and NextGen functionalities within the PeopleSoft environment. Responsibilities: TimesheetX and NextGen Expertise: Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in configuring and customizing PeopleSoft Time & Labor module, with a focus on TimesheetX and NextGen functionalities. Technical Analysis: Conduct thorough technical analysis of business requirements and translate them into effective PeopleSoft solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define technical specifications related to TimesheetX and NextGen features. Customization and Configuration: Customize, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft Time & Labor module to meet the specific needs of the Texas Education Client. Implement and test enhancements, updates, and patches related to TimesheetX and NextGen functionalities. Integration Management: Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure seamless integration between PeopleSoft Time & Labor and other relevant systems. Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues related to TimesheetX and NextGen. Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, customizations, and integrations related to TimesheetX and NextGen. Provide training and documentation to end-users as needed. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans for TimesheetX and NextGen features, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of the PeopleSoft Time & Labor module. Identify and address any issues or bugs through thorough testing. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing technical support for PeopleSoft Time & Labor, addressing user inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to TimesheetX and NextGen. Participate in regular maintenance activities, ensuring system performance and security. Qualifications: Proven experience as a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant with a focus on Time & Labor. Expertise in TimesheetX and NextGen functionalities within PeopleSoft. Strong understanding of the education sector, particularly in Texas, is highly desirable. Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft tools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, and other relevant technologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of [X] years of experience as a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant.
