Role Overview: This is a Systems Programmer/Engineer role focused on the installation, upgrade, configuration, and troubleshooting/problem resolution of IDMS and transactional (CICS) systems. Proficiency in application programming languages (COBOL, PL1, FOCUS) is essential, and knowledge of DB2 is a plus. Key Responsibilities: Hands-on programming experience with extensive knowledge. Proficient in installing CICS from scratch, configuring, and upgrading it. Experience in working with COBOL, PL1, and FOCUS. Knowledge of DB2 is advantageous. Interview /Screening Questions: 1. Can you describe your experience with installing CICS from scratch, including any specific challenges you've encountered 2. What is the last release of CICS you worked with, and what were your responsibilities related to it 3.
