Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Remote (Must be based in US) Preference to Consultants Commutable to Kingstowne, VA Duration: 6+ months Description Deploy infrastructure and platform environments, creates a proof of architecture to test architecture viability security, and performance. Deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure and services. Deploy, configure, and operationalize resilient, highly available production grade containers using AWS EKS Develop IaC for cluster orchestration and application deployment using a variety of tools such as Ansible, Terraform Work with a variety of cloud native tools to add capabilities and secure the platform. Troubleshoot complex technical issues across all layers of the technology stack. Design and build features for implementation in the production system and operational employment by our customer. Proactively resolve technical hurdles and continue innovative efforts within SAFe development practices. Collaborate and communicate with other team members to decompose large tasks into small testable tasks. Requirements 5+ years of experience in cloud-based solutions and cloud CLIs Experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, HTTPS, and networking configurations Knowledge of software development methodologies, security concepts, network, and system design Advanced experience in various technology areas including cloud, identity solutions. Experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code solutions in a cloud environment. Experience hardening and testing systems and applications. Experience configuring physical/virtual networks (VLANs, VNIC, Switches, & other networking hardware) Experience with Linux and Windows Server file systems and operations.
