| CEIPAL ATS - Simplified Recruiting and Staffing Title: PowerBI Developer Duration: Long Term Contract (1 Year SOW) Location: Remote - EST Hours Want only Local to Harrisburg, PA Day to Day In this position, the candidate will build and maintain BI and Analytics solutions that transform data into knowledge and provide insights via interactive and simple-to-understand dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in data and business analysis, along with analytical and communication skills. A sound business understanding and problem-solving abilities are also desired. You will work with agency and technical personnel to provide architecture, design, configuration, support, consultation services, and technical software project support, focusing on Microsoft PowerBI. This position will work with key agency personnel on projects and will be assigned critical project tasks. Required Education and Experience Candidate must have a bachelors degree or masters degree in a related field and 7+ years equivalent work experience post-graduation. 7+ years of Business Intelligence Analytics experience. 3+ years focusing on PowerBI Development/Dashboard creation. 3-5+ years experience writing complex SQL queries. 1-2+ years experience working with Data Analysis Expressions (DAX). Experience with performance optimization of existing reports Understanding of server connectivity. Experience in either Power Query and M language would be beneficial. Experience with writing paginated reports would be a bonus. Expert knowledge of SQL and ideally development background in SQL Server databases.
