Job Title: Sr. Informatica IICS Developer Job Location: Columbia, SC (Hybrid/Remote) Experience Required: 8+ Yrs. Interview: Telephonic & Skype Position Type: Contract Job Description: IICS developer - is responsible for owning and delivering complex Data Integration & migration solutions using IICS technologies. The candidate will be responsible for development of complex solution components (e.g., integration, security, custom development) for customer. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills in all stages of the software development life cycle. The candidate will own reviewing design elements and suggesting on the overall technical design. The candidate will be responsible for developing the data migration flows ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business. The candidate must also have experience providing level of effort estimates for technical portion of solutions. Key Responsibilities: Develop data pipelines to ingest source data into the Data Platform using relational drivers as well as application delivered APIs. Build ETL to centralize data into the Data staging environment. Develop, unit test and system test integration components. Load/extract data from multiple cloud applications (primarily Salesforce.com) and legacy applications (e.g., Oracle) Create support documentation describing the functionality of the integrations. Provide feedback to Architects on the scalability of data models. Maintain consistency in naming standards and ensure standards are followed. Possibly develop stored procedures, user defined functions in SQL Server using secure coding techniques that guard against SQL injection attacks. Ensure adherence to data management/governance policies, processes, and standards. Develop reconciliation & balancing scripts between source applications and the data platform to track accuracy of data loads. Develop parameterized rollback scripts to restore prior batches in case of errors in data loads Skillset: 2+ Experience developing integrations using Informatica Cloud Data Integration (IICS CDI Service) is required. 5 - 7 years of prior IT experience in Data Management / ETL / ELT / Data Warehousing. Proven experience with Data Management & Integration. Experience in sourcing data using application delivered APIs. Understanding of API behavior, security, paging etc. is required. Experience in integrating multiple sources into a centralized data platform or Enterprise Data Warehouse. Experience in integrating data into Data Vault models and Normalized Data Models. 5+ years of in-depth experience working with a wide variety of RDBMS (SQL Server, Azure SQL DB, Oracle etc.). Experience in writing Stored Procedures, Secure coding with safeguards against SQL injection attacks.
