| Hi, Please find job description below; VISAS- US Citizen, Green Card Only Need LinkedIn TITLE- Senior Jira Admin/Engineer/Migration Consultant LOCATION- 100% Remote DURATION- 6+ months Contract INTERVIEW- Telephonic and Video This person HAS to have extensive experience migrating from Jira Server to Jira Cloud and after the migration, will have to become a Jira Administrator full time. Job Description: looking for a Senior Jira Migration Consultant to support our client in Tysons Corner, VA. You will be responsible for the migration from on-prem Jira Server to Jira Cloud. You will be responsible for the effective administration, configuration, and optimization of our Jira software instances. Your role will play a critical part in supporting our teams across the organization to manage projects, track issues, and streamline workflows using Jira. Responsibilities: Advanced knowledge of Jira administration including Jira workflows, project workflows, permission schemes, notification schemes, screen schemes, and custom fields Develops, extends, and maintains Jira workflows as well as Jira reports using native abilities and plugins Managing internal and external accounts, user access administration, controls and permissions, security, and optimization of the system Remains aware of Jira plugin ecosystem to ensure client is taking advantage of those that can provide the best value Configuring and managing integrations with the system Ability to meet with and understand stakeholders in order to improve Jira to meet their needs Advanced knowledge of JQL and ability to create metric dashboards for leadership Provide training to technical and non-technical teams Establishing automations, knowledge and experience with Linux OS, running scripts and automation for Jira plugins Knowledge and experience using plugins such as: Zephyr, Testray, JSU Automation, Jira GitHub Issue Importer, Asana Importer and Exporter are a plus Migrating from on-prem Jira Server to Jira Cloud Assessment and implementations of 3rd party plugins Maintaining consistent issue hierarchy Data integrity management, data archiving Platform monitoring and communication Platform feature roadmaps, new feature advocacy, FedRAMP status monitoring Regards, Vijay Kumar | Lead Recruiter Trail Blazer Consulting LLC | Astoria, NY 11105 Office: 914-650-4600 Ext: 148 Keywords: New York Virginia |
