Please let me know your interest in the below role- Job Title: Mainframe Quality Assurance Analyst Duration: 10+ month Location: Montgomery AL (Onsite from Day 1) Interview: Video Rate: $55/hrs C2C max Visa: USC /GC Experience & Skill needed Skills Required Extensive knowledge of QA/QC methodology, standards and procedures such as creating test plans, test cases, test script generation, regression and user acceptance testing. Experience testing projects developed using agile/scrum and waterfall methodologies. Experience analyzing Functional and Technical Requirements. Experience performing Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Black-box Testing, White-box Testing, and Regression Testing. Experience conducting manual testing of mainframe applications. Experience creating and implementing Test Plans, Test Strategies and Test scenarios from given requirements. Experience with Test Management. Experience with defect reporting, triage, and tracking. Experience creating and maintaining test documentation and test reports. Experience with writing and debugging SQL for verification and validation. Experience following formal Configuration Management procedures. Ability to clearly communicate, both orally and in writing, in English. Experience partnering with Development teams and other project stakeholders to develop test cases, test scripts and test scenarios. Ability to analyze test data and identify trends and/or problems areas and their root causes. Ability to identify discrepancies, report incidents, and validate actual test results vs. expected test results. Skills Preferred Experience with Child Support Enforcement systems Experience with Tictoc Experience with CA-7 Experience Required 5+ years experience testing large, complex mainframe applications 5+ years experience analysing requirements and design documents to develop test scripts 5+ years experience analysing and reporting test results 5+ years experience using TSO/ISPF 5+ years experience using CICS 5+ years experience creating and modifying datasets 5+ years experience creating, modifying, and executing JCL 5+ years experience creating, modifying, and executing SQL 5+ years experience reading COBOL code to understand processing and data structures Experience participating in code and design walkthroughs Experience Preferred Working in a public sector. Testing enterprise level solutions. Education Required Bachelors degree/Masters degree with a minimum of 4 years experience in testing mainframe applications. (Or) High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience in testing mainframe applications. The selected Analyst will: * Perform manual and automated testing of applications, create and maintain test data, and document test results to ensure that changes to systems accurately meet technical and functional requirements. * Review methodology documentation for accuracy, completeness and quality so that new systems and changes to existing systems are completed accurately and in accordance with defined standards. * Design, develop, and document test plans and test scripts so that accurate test documentation exists for all assigned applications. * Work closely with all levels of DHR, Vendor and Partner Agency staff to share information and provide support so that system integrity is maintained, risk factors to applications are addressed, and users are able to perform their testing activities in a controlled test environment. * Model and communicate attributes of professionalism that promote job knowledge, good work ethics, positive attitudes, integrity and accountability.
