ABOUT THE ROLE: Senior Data Warehouse Architect for the EDW Modernization Project, a cornerstone of the Agency's Data Exchange and Modernization Program. This project will implement a SaaS EDW and build integrations with multiple source systems. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES: The Senior Data Warehouse Architect will work with the team and vendor to strategically design and implement the new EDW while ensuring high levels of data availability. This individual will determine the strategy for transitioning data sources from the existing data warehouse to the new EDW. This individual is also responsible for defining data standards and models for warehouse architecture. Skills Required: -Experience as a data warehouse architect, including cloud SaaS solutions Required 8 Years -Proficient in data modeling, database design, and the use of ETL tools. Required 8 Years -Experience working with multiple database platforms, such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, DB2, Netezza, and IMS DB. Required 10 Years -Proficient in programming languages, such as SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Python, Cobol, and JCL. Required 10 Years -Understanding of data governance policies, procedures, and standards, including those for security Required 5 Years -Understanding of APIs and other integration technologies Required 5 Years -Experience with business intelligence and reporting platforms Required 8 Years -Understanding of machine learning and predictive analytics.
