Role: AWS Architect Location: Boston MA (Remote) Job Description: Experience working in large, multi-cloud environments. Ability to collaborate with global, cross-functional teams. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. AWS engineering and tier 3 operational support experience. Experienced in providing technical solutions to the applications hosted in the AWS cloud environment. Prior Migration Experience to the AWS environment is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot complex problems using native AWS services such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC Flowlogs, and Server Access logs. DevOps/coding skills in at least one of: Python 3.x, CloudFormation, Terraform, or GitHub Actions. Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including but not limited to core IaaS (IAM, VPC, EC2, EBS, ELB) and native AWS PaaS Services (S3, Lambda, EMR, SageMaker, Athena, Glue, EKS) AWS networking experience (Direct Connect, Cloudwan, Transit Gateway, Gateway Load Balancer, etc.) Commitment to best practices and striving for the elimination of manual operational processes to promote a DevOps oriented software delivery model. An AWS Certification, however strong experience with a desire to complete certification will also be considered. Experience with REST APIs to support integration of infrastructure, cloud, and platform as a service technology. Experience with containers and container orchestration, Kubernetes, and Docker, including lifecycle management of containers. Knowledge of web security, and networking protocols and Experience with web-based applications and/or web services-based applications. Prior experience with implementing enterprise cloud management platforms.
