Specify and publish standards around APIs and own Boomi platform deliveries Key responsibilities (please specify if the position unless an individual one or part of a team): Design Boomi Integrations and APIs as per a requirement. Have a holistic view of the Integration landscape, its various modes and types of interactions. Assist and advice customers on the best fit solution as per an IT and business portfolio. Guide Boomi platform setup, architect platform features, architect frameworks, contribute in architecture blueprinting , capacity planning, CICD setup . Follow API patterns, define best fit solutions for every integration. Guide and mentor development team for efficient and standardized development Be a product expert of Dell Boomi applications including the AtomSphere integration platform Define and promote the adoption of best practices of Dell Boomi's products across the internal and external user community. - Supervisory / Managerial responsibilities (please specify if the position will have persons reporting to it): Yes, Will need to supervise and mentor, by guiding the solutions development team members. Some of the managerial responsibilities may include - Guiding the members to the right solution approaches Responsible for the performance and conduct of the team Responsible for utilization of the team Responsible for delivery of the team - Other responsibilities Budgets, targets, equipment etc (please specify): Collaborate with enterprise architects and IT program managers to enhance existing business applications and facilitate solutions to meet business requirements. Assist in architecting technical solutions for enterprise systems using the Boomi product suite to drive the value equation and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment Knowledge of SOA Design patterns for building middleware systems ground up using Message Routing, Content Enrichment, Message Filtering, Message Transformation, guaranteed delivery, Message sequencing, Batch message processing, error handling and reconciliation mechanisms. Assist on technical POC's to prove out technology and ultimately leading into product selection. Identify, analyze and design integration flows using Boomi runtime and manage the process of ensuring on time and on budget build and integration of the various elements of the solution Key Skills/Knowledge: Hand on Skills of Boomi platform, latest version. Well versed with Platform Architecture, new features, deployment options, pricing and impacts etc. Knowledge of Web Services Interoperability, WS-* standards and ability to suggest, criticize and formulate solutions in a multi-vendor and architecture committee meetings. Years of application integration development and/or design, with a proven ability to design and optimize application and data integration processes across disparate systems. Experience with enterprise integration tools, middleware technologies, and application and data integration patterns including ESB, MOM, JMS, SOAP/REST web services, databases and ETL. Experience in SOA Orchestration and Integration Technologies like, ESB, SOAP, WSDL, BPEL, XML, XSD, UDDI, XML, and Web services Security and Virtualization of Services OWSM Experience or knowledge in Java/Groovy scripting/Java Scripting can be added to JD Experience required: Experience working in enterprise application integration with 5+ years of experience with Boomi Product and features as an Architect. Experience with Services Oriented Architecture and RESTful Architecture, microservices Architecture. Hands-on development experience in Boomi, REST API design, Flow etc. Boomi Integration/platform Architect certification. Experience and understanding of complete API lifecycle.
