Position: QA Analyst Location: Chelsea, MA Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: The Quality Assurance Analyst will assist the Program Teams with execution of quality assurance activities throughout the COMETS HD software development life cycle, including but not limited to: This position description does not include quality control or software and application testing. This is not a tester role. It is a QA Analyst role. Desired Skills and Experience: Experience working with software and SDLC tools including Jira or Wrike, SonarQube Experience with creating reports and dashboards using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI Experience describing and documenting Procedures/Process using latest document management software, for example: Confluence Experience with creating quality metrics and reports for software development and production support Experience with various SDLC methodologies (ex. Waterfall, Agile) Ability to interact from a QA perspective, while having the necessary level of technical expertise in functional configuration to ensure work items are completed with traceability while anomalies are detected and minimized Broad knowledge of testing approaches, development cycles and overall SLDC processes Diagnostic and problem-solving skills Experience reviewing work products of the business analyst, test team and development team to ensure well defined procedures or plans Understanding of SQL, Automation and other test management or collaboration tools Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to interact effectively with architects, developers, business analysts and project managers.
