If they are able to come into our Mission Viejo or Chicago office 1-2 days a week that is a bonus; not a requirement though. 5. Good tenure, no lifetime contractors 6. 3 years of experience managing server hardware (direct Dell server experience a plus) 7. 3 years of experience managing with VMWare vSphere 6.x 8. 3 years of experience managing Windows Server 9. 3 years of experience managing storage including fiber channel SAN and RAID 10. 3 years of experience managing Microsoft Active Directory and DNS 11. 3 years of experience with PowerShell 12. 3 years of experience with backup technologies (direct experience with EMC Avamar a plus) 13. 3 years of experience with Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager 14. 3 years of experience managing Office 365, specifically Exchange Online and Teams 15. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies JOB DESCRIPTION: As a member of the IT department, the Systems Administrator II is responsible for maintaining our server and storage environment at 13 sites across the US and approximately 20 international sites. He or she will identify system requirements, design and deploy solutions to solve business problems, monitor system performance and identify and resolve issues. Position Responsibilities Provide guidance on server and storage infrastructure strategy and design (30%) Provide leadership and guidance to team and management on server and storage technologies, ensuring that team has developed solutions that maximize functionality, while solving business needs. Execute short and long-term vision and strategic plans as given by Enterprise Infrastructure Manager and Director of Information Technology Provide unsupervised technical and analytical expertise (70%) Ensure all promised dates and deliverables are accomplished Provide technical and analytical support and guidance on projects as needed Facilitate and/or execute testing activities as required Accountable for ensuring that the technical solution meets the functional requirements Actively participates in change management activities Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project planning, tracking and analysis Develops and maintains documentation on implemented solutions, policies and procedures The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs Education/Experience: Required: 5-8 years of experience showing increasing responsibility performing helpdesk/service desk and other IT functions. 5+ years of experience with systems administration Strong foundation of IT knowledge including networking, Windows operating systems, iPhone, Active Directory, WebEx or other video conferencing platforms, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, Microsoft Office, Helpdesk Ticketing, SCCM and backup utilities.
