Please review our job opening below and kindly send us the updated resume ASAP along with the details of consultants; Please add [email protected] in your distribution list Role: Database Engineer Location: Boston, MA-hybrid Duration: Long Term Contract Job description: Over all 10+ years Experience Expertise in Oracle Golden Gate replication (with postgres as a source and multi-target (Oracle, Postgres, Redshift, Databricks) Strong UNIX skills Strong scripting skills (shell ok, but python is preferred) Oracle/pl sql skills AWS CloudFormation template expertise Detailed JD is as below: 1. Proficiency in Engineering and Managing Replication technologies like Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Stream 2. Proficiency with Linux/Unix command line and vi editor 3. Shell scripting and python coding experience 4. Experience in Database engineering projects and Production Support 5. Familiar with multi-target replication and various source data platforms 6. Strong Experience with various replication products 7. Strong Experience with various data platforms (OLTP, Data Warehouse and Databricks) 8. Hands-on experience with minimum 8 years experience 9. Airflow knowledge 10. Data modeling and performance tuning experience 11. Proven knowledge of Designing, Engineering and Managing Oracle RAC One Node infrastructure 12. Proficient in data engineering architecture experience 13. Strong Troubleshooting and triage experience with quick response times(<15min), must be available on short notice should production issue arises 14. Strong analytical and problem solving skills 15. Ability to design, implement and support scalable architecture and support large database replication implementations 16. Must have great attention to detail in planning and technical documentation 17. Familiarity with; Software administration (installs/upgrades), monitoring and alerting development and support 18.
