This contract position will provide developmentservices to assist the client program with collecting, analyzing, scripting andautomation for data from security solutions and platforms to provide usefulinsights and analytics of this data. Utilizing programming languages suchas Python and PowerShell, the contractor shall use SDKs and APIs to facilitatedata pipelines for the collection and transfer of security log data and developlogical processes around solutions aimed at identifying patterns and trends. The contractor will need to create end-to-end solutions for ingestion, storage,processing, and analysis of data from both COTS and Open-Source solutions,utilizing third-party development modules where required. Developmentwill require reusable, testable and efficient code writing, and the ability tocreate integrative systems. The contractor shall also understand andinterpret end-user requirements into application development. This rolewill also require the ability to work with data to derive insightful resultsfrom acquired data for multiple systems and apply and develop models foriterative use and build visualizations within enterprise business intelligencetools. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: 1. Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software. 2. Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications. 3. Research, tests, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of newproducts based on client requirements. 4. Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existingsoftware. 5. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multipleplatforms. 6. Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. 7. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. 8. Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages,application integration and testing tools. 9. Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvementsand enhancements. 10. Actsas team leader on projects. 11. Instructs,assigns, directs, and checks the work of other software developers ondevelopment team. 12. Participatesin development of software user manuals.
