Net Developer, with C#, ASP.net MVC Remote work; Prefer Candidate near Harrisburg/ any part of Philadelphia/ East Coast Interview Webcam Start and Date: 11/20/23 to 06/30/24 No sub after 10/30 Max 3 Short Description DEP is looking for strong .Net developers with C#, utilizing ASP.Net MVC, ADO.net and entity framework to help develop and expand an existing e-permitting system. Complete Description The candidate will be part of an agile team focused on continued development and configuration of an electronic permitting (e-permitting) system for the Department and its bureaus. The candidate must also be extremely strong and well-versed in UI/UX design, including HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, and JQuery. Extensive experience utilizing Visual Studio 2017 or newer is required. Experience managing work items and source code in VSTS/DevOps is also strongly preferred. The ideal candidate would also have familiarity with Oracle Data Provider (ODP.NET). This individual will work as part of a larger development team that is following agile development methodologies, so experience with agile/SCRUM development is preferred. Job Duties/Responsibilities Codes enhancement and development programs and/or required fixes to production problems using the functional and technical programming standards. Design and Develop UI screens. Develop these enhancements or features using: C#, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, XML, CSS and Visual Studio 2017. Tests enhancement and development programs. Participates in structured code reviews / walkthroughs. Executes all required process steps. Create and provide content for operational documentation to Technical Writers. Utilize configuration management tools, design tools, debugging tools, and any other environment specific tools necessary to create, test and implement an application. Work in an agile team environment. Manage and complete assigned tasks in Azure DevOps. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
