Job title: Azure SRE Engineer Location: 100% Remote (New York, NY) Duration: 24 months Primary Skills: SRE, Azure, bicep, PowerShell and Shell Scripting. Site Reliability Engineer Client is looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team. We are seeking a SRE who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance the performance and reliability of our core applications and cloud services. The position will take a lead role for the overall reliability of all our systems while building real-world solutions to proactively monitor and identify performance issues, application and service issues, end user experience issues, incidents and outages. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and implement monitoring solutions for all company application and cloud services Monitoring and instrumentation of systems and applications to proactively identify end user performance issues, ensure availability, functionality and reliability across the board Design and implement multi-region HA environments for web applications and services Building tools for performance testing and reliability automations, configurations, DR tests, build pipelines and performance tests Deep understanding of Azure cloud services, Windows and Linux operating systems Deep understanding of how different databases operate with an ability to identify issues Tuning and scaling for cloud native applications and services Work with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools like Terraform, Arm, Bicep and Ansible.
