Role: Informatica Admin Location: Phoenix, AZ (Need locals) Duration: 6+ Months Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain the Informatica PowerCenter environment, ensuring it meets performance and security requirements. Manage Informatica services, nodes, and repositories to maintain high availability and reliability of ETL processes. Monitor system performance and proactively optimize the Informatica environment to ensure efficient data integration and processing. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to Informatica, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and ETL job failures. Implement and maintain security protocols and access controls to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data governance standards. Collaborate with data architects, developers, and business analysts to design and optimize ETL workflows and data integration processes. Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and ensure data backups are reliable and accessible. Stay current with industry best practices and Informatica updates to recommend and implement improvements to the infrastructure and processes. Conduct routine maintenance, patching, and upgrades of the Informatica environment. Develop and maintain documentation related to the Informatica environment, configurations, and processes. Train and mentor team members on Informatica best practices and usage. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as an Informatica Administrator, with at least [X] years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining Informatica PowerCenter, including the setup of repositories and services. Strong knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting Informatica environments. Solid understanding of database technologies, SQL, and data manipulation. Familiarity with data security and compliance standards, including GDPR and HIPAA. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Informatica certification is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
