This position will work collaboratively with a cross-functional team to help ensure that the administrative systems within F&A are secure, reliable, and continually improved. The ERP Developer will be an accomplished software developer and analyst, who has deep expertise in Banner Finance. This position will be F&As Banner expert and understands how the product is supposed to work, whats coming on the horizon, and where opportunities for improvement exist. This position will be a senior member of project teams for Banner implementations and upgrades, as well as for building, enhancing, and maintaining custom-built applications. Minimum Qualifications Mid- to late-career with Masters and 2-4 yrs experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with Higher Education or state agency. Experience with Banner Application development Experience with Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Pro*C Experience with server-side languages such as Java, JavaScript and run time environments like JVM. Experience with Banner Workflow, Banner Document Management, Atomic (Appworx), Cognos Reporting. Breakdown of role: Percentage Of Time, 25 Provides Banner (ERP) support to F&A. This requires considerable specific ERP module knowledge as well as specific functional department operations knowledge. Understands F&A business processes and how they are achieved using the ERP system. Provides timely answers and solutions to F&A ERP needs. Addresses any urgent issues impacting time-sensitive functional business processes. Performs ERP operational management and maintenance in coordination with F&A. Performs knowledge transfer to F&A functional staff as needed. Percentage Of Time, 30 Performs analysis, design, integration, and support work for Banner ERP and associated systems. Conducts guided interviews and meetings with users to evaluate needs and define system requirements, issues, and constraints. Develops detailed solution documentation including minor process descriptions and program specifications. Develops time estimates, solution implementation schedules, and infrastructure resources requirements based on size and nature of work effort. Coordinates implementations in accordance with the University processing calendar and with F&A as needed. Performs project and task management as needed. Percentage Of Time, 40 Performs analysis, design, coding, testing, and documentation of development solutions. Interacts with F&A, specialists, analysts, and direct determination of requirements and review of results. Tests solutions using standard, University-established testing methodologies, and resources, and shares and confirms test results with clients. Reviews and updates or creates documentation for existing ERP solutions as needed. Percentage Of Time, 5 Supports the adoption of standardized project processes and tools. Supports projects post-deployment. Builds and maintains relationships with F&A stakeholders |
