Position- Guidewire Architect Location- San Antonio, TX and Plano, TX (Hybrid) Contract- 12+ Months Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guidewire Technical Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Guidewire Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Guidewire-based solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to ensure successful implementation of Guidewire applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Guidewire's suite of products, strong technical expertise, and the ability to lead and mentor a team. Responsibilities: Design and architect Guidewire-based solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices. Should have hands-on Technical experience in Guidewire for at least 5 years out of overall IT Industry experience of at least 15 years. Lead and guide development teams in implementing Guidewire applications, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, and translate them into technical specifications. Provide thought leadership to the client across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Guidewire applications, working closely with cross-functional teams. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization of Guidewire solutions. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Guidewire technology and provide recommendations for their adoption. Desired Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Should be an Ace Certified in Guidewire Proven experience as a Technical Architect, specifically working with Guidewire applications. Strong expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. In-depth understanding of Guidewire integration frameworks and technologies (e.g., Gosu, Webservices, RESTful APIs, Messaging). Experience with Guidewire configuration and customization, including data model design, business rules, workflows, and UI design. Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical designs and specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with Agile methodologies and software development practices.
