[email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Description - Job Title: DevOps Engineer Location: Austin, TX - hybrid (currently onsite 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Visa: No H1B DevOps Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes, Python) (Austin, TX) - Highly preferred Kubernetes Certification Kubernetes Certification 3+ years of Production Support with Kubernetes CLUSTERS - Highly preferred AWS Certified - Expert knowledge of AWS (EB, EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, Kubernetes, EKS, CloudFormation, etc). - Strong Operational Experience in Linux/Unix environment and scripting languages: Shell, Perl, Python. - Experience working with server clusters consisting of 100s-1000s of machines, and deploying changes with zero downtime - A desire to write tools and applications to automate work rather than do everything by hand. - Knowledge and experience with Software Version Control systems: SVN, GIT, etc. (Git and GitHub/Gitlab knowledge is a plus). - Knowledge of Java build systems and tools including: Maven, Gradle, Ant, SBT, etc. - Continually improve CI/CD tools, processes and procedures. - Experience with Java test frameworks such as JUnit. - Experience implementing Java server applications using tools such as: Jersey, Jetty. - Knowledge of Web Servers and Load Balancers Apache HTTP Server, Apache Traffic Server, Nginx, HA Proxy. - Solid experience in trouble shooting, debugging, and performance measurement. - Self-motivated, pro-active and solution-oriented individual.
