Please send across the resume earliest to [email protected] Role - Automation Test Engineer Location Atlanta, GA (on-site 3 days) (Local) Duration:- Contract Note: Remote work is not allowed, we need a resource who can work on-site 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) from client location at Atlanta, GA Max Rate: $45/hr on C2C Or $39/hr on w2 Automation Test Engineer with a strong track record of delivering high caliber results with high client satisfaction. The successful candidate must be energetic, communicative, intelligent, passionate, and motivated. The position is fast paced on a complex, high priority project requiring both hard and soft skills and focused dedication. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with test sites and other team participants to plan test events and create test data Creating and running automation test cases Tracks problems and report on errors/issues that are identified Create/manage test plans/reports and perform testing such as unit, regression, and smoke testing adequate to ensure the released coding changes meet the requirements Triage issues to determine if the problem is traceable to requirements, design, configuration, testing, code defect, documentation deficiency, or knowledge gap, and to determine whether further analysis is required Ensure all acceptance criteria are agreed to by stakeholders and are testable and automated to the maximum extent practicable Assist in the testing and documentation steps for each part of the testing process Evaluate existing test artifacts and design test cases/scripts for new releases independently Work closely with the developers, business analyst, scrum master, project manager and other stakeholders to understand product specifics and to create corresponding test strategies Ensure all requirements data is under change control and is fully linked to work items that show traceability to design changes, configurable items, test cases, and test results Ensure test plans specify the type and scope of testing to be conducted during each product build (for example, unit, functional, accessibility, system, reliability, usability, interoperability, regression, security, and performance) Execute testing on both frontend and backend systems Participate effectively in estimation, planning, cost-of-quality, and quality risk analysis Be an advocate for our VA customer stakeholders and the ultimate beneficiaries of our solution - our Nations Veterans Develop a keen understanding of program goals and requirements and develop a vision to both meet the customers current needs, and for evolution of the program to meet changing client needs Collaborate with project leadership and client stake holders to deliver the project on time, with high quality, and in alignment with the customers expectations Ensure targets for contractual performance metrics/SLAs are met or exceeded, and provide analysis and communication to ensure appropriate focus on critical attention areas Anticipate project challenges and technical risk scenarios Identify and execute on opportunities for process improvements Escalate key issues and recommend solutions to project and client leadership Serve as a subject matter expert to ensure successful implementation of all the projects solutions Develop and deliver internal and client-facing program reviews, status reports, performance reports and other communications Other duties as assigned by project leadership Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related scientific /technical discipline) 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education 2 years of relevant experience with mandatory experience in Selenium framework and Cucumber tool Experience in the coordination and execution of test events in accordance with approved test plans, procedures, and scripts Experience setting up test environments accurately Experience in testing IT hardware, software, systems, and networks Experience in writing or assisting in the development of test plans and test procedures Experience with Jira and GitHub Experience with diverse IT projects both large and small Well versed in full systems development life cycle, enterprise-wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure, and management practices Able to identify and mitigate risks to the program, manage to cost, schedule and performance Thanks & Regards, Deepak Kumar Sr./Lead Technical Recruiter Keywords: information technology wtwo Georgia Virginia |
