We have an urgent requirement with one of our clients, please review below job description and let me know your interest Title: Windows/Azure Admin (Microsoft Defender, Intune Endpoint) Location: North Chicago, IL Duration: 12 Months+ Description: Provides technical implementation and life cycle support of various solutions in endpoint security. Applies IT knowledge, specialized technical experience, research, and analysis that meets requirements. Knowledgeable in common tools that support the area of expertise. Drives implementation and provides technical support for escalated operational incidents and problems. Monitors and reports task assignment progress and status as required and escalates risks and issues to key stakeholders. Proactively identifies opportunities for continuous improvement by evaluating new technologies, tools and engineering methods that are applicable within area of responsibility and expertise. 3-5+ years of experience required. Length: 12 months with possible extension 1. What hours and days will this person be working 8am-5pm Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote or onsite 5 days if preferred Lake County 2. What are the top skills/requirements this person is required have a. Security vulnerability evaluations and reviews. b. Support and troubleshooting of Windows Operating System and client-side security software. c. Troubleshoot complex hardware and software related issues. d. Required Skill 1: Intune Endpoint Security Administration. e. Required Skill 2: Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Management. Microsoft Defender Antivirus / Firewall & Disk Encryption (BitLocker) Management f. Required Skill 3: Windows 7 / 10 / 11. g. Required Skill 4: Troubleshooting h. Additional experience with troubleshooting and supporting other malware prevention and firewall products a plus. i. What years of experience, education, and/or certification is required i. 3-5+ years in this field. No specific education or certifications required. 3. What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification a. Trellix (formerly McAfee) MNE/MDE/FRP/DLP b. CrowdStrike Falcon c. Service Now Experience 4. What is the environment that this person will be working in (i.e., group setting vs individual role) a. Work as a member of the Endpoint Threat Management Administration team. 5. Is any testing required for this role a. No tests required for the position. 6. Does this position offer the ability to work remotely on a regular basis or is it an on-site role a. Our current work from home options are 2 days a week. The rest would be on-site.
