Position: 100% Remote Digital Learning Designer-Developer. Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6 + Months Job Description: Candidates with Assima Train experience highly desired. o May request demonstration. We are looking for someone to create interactive training courses for our Facets system and Salesforce applications using Assima Train. Demonstrable Assima experience trumps all other requirements. Experience with instructional design and creating other digital learning content is also important. Job Description: Digital Learning Designer/Developer is responsible for the production of interactive, multimedia training programs that elevate the learner experience. Consults with business partners and project teams to determine business outcomes and/or performance goals and identify learning and non-learning solutions to meet these objectives. Collaborates with instructional designers, facilitators, and subject matter experts to develop impactful learning solutions that enable learners to meet performance goals and expectations. Produces collateral to visualize the design strategy and pitches the concept to peers, project team and senior leadership as needed to gain acceptance of the proposed solution. Creates storyboards to demonstrate the learning path and ensure all relevant teaching points are covered. Constructs simulations of systems and applications using screen recording software and enhances content with graphics, audio, and video files that enhance the learning experience. Stays current with rapidly advancing software and hardware technologies in relation to multimedia production. Supports all aspects of the BCBSNC creative strategy to ensure all materials are consistent with the BCBSNC and BCBSA Brand look and feel Hiring Requirements: Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience with multimedia learning program development. If no degree, 7 years of experience multimedia work is required. OR 1+ year of experience developing in Assima Train. Extensive, functional knowledge of content creation and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition, Captivate, and Articulate 360/Storyline. Experience with creating and editing learning content in Assima Train is strongly preferred. Experience working in a corporate university, instructional design role, or multimedia developer role preferred. Knowledge of instructional objectives, instructional strategy models, blended learning solutions, learning object methodology, and measurement standards preferred. Applies to All - Proven success in managing and building effective working relationships with clients and vendors as well as managing multiple projects with varying degree of scope. Work experience should demonstrate formal understanding, training or experience with all aspects of digital learning content creation. Passion and curiosity about contemporary media production trends and best practices. Understanding of video and multimedia best practices for visual design and digital branding. Can work independently or collaboratively and as part of cross-functional teams. Keen eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to juggle multiple project responsibilities. Strong oral communication skills and presentation skills. Script writing experience is a plus.
