Experience with Adobe ColdFusion web application development Strong experience with Oracle RDBMS database programming. Strong experience with ( SQL) for developing relational database queries and scripts . Experience identifying and analyzing data problems and discrepancies. JOB DESCRIPTION Primary Responsible for: The Operations Programmer Analyst position supports the daily operation of the campus student information system and affiliated information systems. Responsibilities include database and web programming, technical analysis, and technical operation of systems that address the business needs of academic and administrative units and impact students, faculty and staff Essential Responsibilities: 50% OPERATIONS SUPPORT AND ANALYSIS Perform both routine and complex operational processing within the student information system. Operational processing includes running, scheduling and monitoring programs that perform core SIS functions, as well as importing and exporting data for exchange with other systems. Generate and provide standard operational reports from student information system in accordance with operational calendar and requirements . Validate and perform quality assurance of data collected by systems or staff. Collaborate with and serve as backup to other technical analysts on the team. 50% DATABASE AND WEB PROGRAMMING Work collaboratively with team members or individually to design, develop, and maintain highly complex software projects for the web using JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Oracle. Qualifications: Experience analyzing complex information and situations to independently identify problems and relevant factors, formulating logical conclusions, and recommending and implementing alternative solutions. Oral and written communication skills to present information effectively, tailor presentations to a wide variety of audiences, present complex concepts and recommendations clearly for management decision making. Experience identifying and analyzing data problems and discrepancies. Strong experience with Oracle RDBMS database programming. Strong experience with Structured Query Language ( SQL) for developing relational database queries and scripts. Some experience with web application development, including HTML, JavaScript and related technologies.
