From: John, Mindfore [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Title: Business Analyst 2 Location: Atlanta, GA Hybrid Responsibilities: Participates in the demand management process to assist the business in establishing business cases, scope, and requirements relating to requests for new systems or existing system changes Primarily support IT acquisition of products or services by developing scopes of work Consults with project teams and architects to identify currently known solutions or perform market research Gather information/documentation from vendors or contractors Translates business needs into requirements and functional/non-functional specifications Gather, clarify/define, and document scope, business scenarios, workflows, requirements, etc. Conduct interviews, workshops, and JAD sessions Analyzes and validates business requirements and processes, identifies opportunities for process enhancement to benefit the Department, identifies gaps in information Uses a structured process to define priorities and opportunities and/or works with stakeholders to define the minimum viable product (MVP) and options for improvements via subsequent phases Produces required work artifacts Communicates and presents clients business requirements to implementation teams Creates systems models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and system architects Works with the team to define acceptance criteria or other metrics/performance goals for the system Provides status updates, completes weekly work time logs, updates work tickets weekly Provide estimates and target dates for task completion for incorporation into project schedules or work tickets Skill Required / Desired Required 4 Years BS/BA in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, etc.) Required 5 Years IT business analysis work experience in software development, project management, or technology implementations/support Required 5 Years Experience with Microsoft Office Professional, including Visio Required 3 Years of Experience with data and business process analysis Required 3 Years Experience in developing statements/scope of work for contracting and procurement Required Work experience in reviewing software license, service, or support level agreements Required 3 Years Experience with procurements or solicitations, developing scopes of work or statements of work. Required Strong analytical/technical skills, able to provide impact/risk assessments Required Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills Required Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Required Detail oriented, analytical mindset Required Able to manage multiple projects/tasks at once; Results oriented and highly organized; Able to work in a fast-paced environment Required Strong interviewing, active listening, communication, presentation, moderating meetings, and interpersonal skills - influencing, negotiating, etc. Required Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare presentations and write scope/specifications for procurement/contracting Required Able to provide portfolio or examples of scopes of work or statements of work they prepared.
