Job Title: UX Product Manager

Start/End Dates: 6-12 months C2H

Work Location: Mooresville, NC (Hybrid-2, 3 days in a week )

Interview: 3-4 rounds

Ability to see big picture of the overall initiative, and break that down into small logical delivery chunks Needs to be able to ramp up quickly and understand the requirements Ability to perform deep analysis on requirements, and define the requirements to great detail Expertise in creating epics, features and user stories using Jira Good understanding of technology and being able to collaborate with tech partners for the breakdown of features and stories into technical components Be a great partner and guide for the business teams to help them navigate the agile development process Ability to see big picture and envision how different parts of the ecosystem connect to each other - be able to identify the dependencies, and work with multiple upstream and downstream dependency teams to get alignment for their delivery commitments and manage the timelines Program management skills to be able to identify and manage delivery risks, and navigate the organization to mitigate the risks Good ability to create executive level updates Experience in implementing large complex projects

Please provide 1-2 sentences about the project that the candidate will be working on:

The product manager will be leading the technology modernization of one of the Corporate Accounting systems The goal of this modernization is to deliver capabilities for automatic set up of vendor allowance programs based on data feeds from upstream systems and contracts,  enhanced calculations of vendor funds calculations, and automated debits from vendor payables.

These capabilities will deliver capabilities to account for vendor funds in sales margins accurately, and provide transparency to accounting team, merchants, and vendors about the allowance funds.

Scope for Request:

This product manager will own delivery of certain capabilities for the VATS modernization initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Defines the product and identifies gaps and customer needs by creating vision, strategy and required documentation for a product; utilizing available studies (market research, internal) and competitive analysis to identify customer needs; performing experiments to uncover additional customer value; identifying relevant components of a competitive analysis and organizes in-person customer research to build product roadmaps

Develops and manages the product roadmap

Engages in the product planning process by developing required documents (user stories with acceptance criteria, use cases) for product or product release; working closely with UX to collaborate the design of the user experience of a product; and determining release goals, prioritization, implementation, and iteration plans for a product

Makes recommendations in the development process by reviewing demos with the technology team and validating acceptance criteria for the product; and tracking development work and identifying bugs at a product level

Collaborates working with relevant stakeholders for product launch, to develop launch and go-to-market plans for a product, identifying issues and blockers that may delay the launch or impede the success of a product, and presenting alternatives to leadership

Tracks and reports on product launch metrics, utilizing feedback to drive associated actions and product iteration; contributes to post-launch reviews and incorporates of feedback in future product releases

Participate and provide solutions in product-level discussions with internal and external stakeholders; uses data analysis to address complex and ambiguous problems that may involve multiple stakeholder teams

Works with relevant internal and external stakeholders to identify and prioritize product-level customer issues and customer experience gaps; uses findings to determine short and medium-term risk and opportunities for the product and drive further customer adoption

Uses analytics to monitor product KPIs and ensure success metrics are being met; identifies opportunities for testing and product enhancements based on results

As per business reviews, supplying product/feature results as necessary; provides input into business cases when new products/features are being developed

Maintains a prioritized product backlog based on defined business value, aligning with Product Strategy and resource capacity; uses data and analytics to prioritize the product backlog appropriately

Reviews large requirements (Epics) and smaller requirements (Stories) based on product/feature strategy

Aligns efforts across product teams, prioritizing as necessary, and driving/facilitating execution to maintain focus and appropriate momentum

Facilitate user experience and technology teams for successful product implementation

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Communications, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)

2 years of experience in two or more of the following: project management, product management, business analysis, program management or product marketing

1 year of experience in product and/or experience management

Strong writing ability

Experience in an agile software environment

Experience working cross-functionally in a large organization

Experience working closely with senior leadership
