The Rack and Stack Technician will integrate the hardware to complete the customers datacenter solution. The Rack and Stack Tech will complete all physical aspects of the build by following runbooks and quality control checklists, that outline the defined procedures and instructions. Responsibilities: The Rack and Stack Technician will install computer servers, networking devices, storage devices, cables, and other data center equipment Update tracking of provided equipment in the warehouse management application Assist in the physical racking of data center assets including network switches, computer servers, storage devices, PDUs and related equipment into datacenter cabinets Required Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using basic hand tools and light power tools Ability to comprehend technical documentation and diagrams and be able to transfer that logical information into a physical build. Capacity to follow detailed oral and written instructions in the installation and removal of electronic equipment.
