Job Title: Data Center Lead Locations: Brecksville, OH (onsite) Duration: Contract Tech Mahindra Key Responsibilities: Facility Management: Supervise the maintenance, upkeep, and physical security of the data center, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Server and Network Infrastructure: Manage and optimize server and network hardware, including troubleshooting and coordinating repairs or upgrades as needed. Power and Cooling Systems: Monitor and maintain power distribution and cooling systems to prevent disruptions and ensure efficient operation. Security: Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard data center assets and sensitive information. Emergency Response: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, and lead response efforts during outages or emergencies. Capacity Planning: Collaborate with IT teams to forecast capacity requirements and scale infrastructure as needed. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of equipment, configurations, and procedures for effective management and auditing. Compliance: Ensure data center operations comply with relevant regulatory and compliance requirements. Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement and maintenance of data center equipment and services. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and supervision to data center technicians and support staff. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Proven experience in data center management or similar roles. Strong knowledge of data center technologies, networking, and infrastructure. Familiarity with data center design and best practices. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Certification in data center management or related fields is a plus.
