Need 10+ yrs of Exp Only USC and must be local to Texas Job Description Job Title: Sr. Java Software Engineer Client: JPMorgan Chase Location: Plano, TX (Local) Hybrid Report on site on day 1 (3 days per week in the office) Experience: 10+ Visa: US Citizen Required Skill set: As a member of the Revenue Management Software Engineering team, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices. The Software we build and maintain supports the Securities Services Pricing and Billing Operations teams. Our applications process and invoice 2.38 in annual revenue generated by Security Services. You'll be required to apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with stakeholders to stay focused on our common goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and expertise, including: A developer with proven experience in building scalable and robust applications. 10+ years of Application Development Experience. A hands-on developer with advanced level proficiency in Core Java/J2EE, Spring, REST. Expert level object-oriented design skills and a strong grasp of advanced design patterns and practices. Strong SQL Server/Oracle application development skills. Experience with development tools such as Jenkins, Git/BitBucket, Jira, etc. Strong Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud technology Understanding or Familiarity with deploying and running workloads on AWS (preferably using EKS). Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Angular/React etc. Hands on Agile practitioner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices. Ability to work in large, collaborative and geographically distributed teams to achieve organizational goals. Experience managing deliverables from start to finish and able to lead, mentor and oversee the work of other developers.
