| Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Cincinnati, OH (Onsite) Local Rate: $55/hr (C2C) Job Summary: Deloitte is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Engineer (QA Tester) to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through the use of automation frameworks, web automation tools (e.g., Appium, Selenium), service automation tools (e.g., Postman, Karate, SOUP UI), and expertise in CI/CD, containerization, observability, and monitoring. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to support the testing of web and service-based applications. Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality. Perform web automation using tools such as Appium and Selenium. Conduct service automation using tools like Postman, Karate, and SOUP UI. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline. Ensure containerization and observability of testing environments. Set up and monitor software testing processes to identify defects and ensure application reliability. Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner. Document and report defects, as well as verify their resolution. Contribute to the overall improvement of software quality by identifying process improvements and best practices. Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in quality assurance and software testing. Strong expertise in automation frameworks and tools. Proficiency in web automation tools such as Appium and Selenium. Experience with service automation tools like Postman, Karate, and SOUP UI. Knowledge of CI/CD practices and containerization technologies. Familiarity with observability and monitoring in software testing. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
